About Hermas

Hi there! My name is Hermas. I have been nannying professionally for 6 years, and I previously worked in Chicago Public Schools as a special needs teacher assistant. I have experience with ages ranging from newborn to 13, including helping with school pick-ups, transportation to and from extracurricular activities and swim lessons, and keeping children engaged through creative activities at home. I also have experience caring for children with special needs (specifically nonverbal autism in my most recent position). I love children: I have 4 adult daughters, 3 who have graduated from college and 1 heading there this fall, and I became a first-time grandmother to a baby boy this winter.
