I truly enjoy caring for children of all ages, especially infants and toddlers. For the past 12 years, I provided childcare in between school and a career in social work. The majority of my experience is caring for children between the ages of 6 months and 3 years old. I am comfortable providing all basic care needs, enjoy imaginative/educational play, and encourage outdoor activities as much as possible. I am happy to assist with household chores and cleaning related to child care. I will respect your space and value open communication to create a safe and supportive space for your child's development.

Helen is AMAZING! She cared for our 8 month old daughter 4 days a week for 6 months. Our daughter adores her. When Helen arrives in the morning (always on time), our daughter squeals in utter excitement and joy to see her. Helen is a very nurturing, gentle and patient. She takes care of our daughter’s every little need and is very observant and communicates well with us. She drives our daughter to her weekly play activities. She is consistent, reliable and trustworthy (and a very safe driver). She communicates well in advance when she needs time off. As a mother who has the typical anxiety that comes with having children, hiring Helen was the best thing we could’ve done. I trust her completely and am I peace when our daughter is in her care because she always has our daughter’s best interests at top of mind. If we could work with Helen forever we would and will miss having her around regularly but we are so fortunate to have gained a friend!
