About Heidi

I am a retired elementary school teacher who loves children and enjoys yoga, Barre workouts, biking and dancing. I have raised 2 sons, who have completed graduate school and are employed in St. Louis. Since retiring from 30 years of teaching special education, I have taken care of 1-year-old twin girls for 2 years and a 6-month-old girl for 1 year. I also care for my 6-week-old and 19-month-old grandsons. I also tutor children K thru 5th grade in reading and math. I enjoy reading, crafting, playing games with children, as well exploring the outdoors. I live in Kirkwood, can be available on short notice, as a sitter, back-up sitter, tutor or whatever you may need. I do have a current screening clearance from the Family Care Safety Registry, current CPR training certificate and can provide references.
