About Heidi

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic and responsible! I like working with kids because they are curious about life and bring simple but profound joy to the world! I started working with kids when I was 10 years old and started volunteering for childcare at church. I have continued volunteering with children for the last 35 years. In my spare time, I like to read, work out, be outside and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I have a strong sense of responsibility to those in my care. I want to make sure they feel safe, seen and heard. I am empathetic and patient in managing children and lots of projects at the same time. My skills include communicating well, providing emotional support and reassurance as well excellent time management skills. I have over 20 years experience as a mom of five and have developed patience and a unique sense of humor and adaptability to handle the highs and lows of the day in the life of a child.
