About Heidi

Learning alongside students is one of my passions. I have both homeschooled and volunteered in general and SPED classes. I also worked at a Sylvan Learning Center. I hold a college degree and tailor my approach to each student's unique style by observing their interactions with new material and adjusting my methods accordingly. The most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing a student's confidence blossom as they grasp new concepts. I can help your elementary school student in math, English, science, art, or special education at their home, my home, the library, a community center, or a coffee shop. I would love to help your student reach their full potential. I do withhold nanny taxes as required by law if contracted on a retainer or regular schedule with pay that equals 3k+ a year. I am happy to help walk you through the steps needed if you don't have an employer tax id set up already.
