About Amy

For over a decade, I have been a dedicated tutor, helping students unlock their full potential. As a certified teacher with a college degree, working with young learners I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning, not just memorization. For older learners I encourage students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I I also provide regular updates to parents to help them stay informed, particularly with homework. I provide a motivational system that encourages successes, both small and large. I currently tutor in the Maryville area. I can help with Beginning reading, Math, English, Science, Test Preparation, Study Skills, and History. I work primarily with young learners, but can look at particular courses for older learners to see if I would be a good fit. Summer is just around the corner and this is a great time to make sure your child retains and builds new confidence and skills!
