About Heidi

Hi! My name is Heidi, and I recently completed my student teaching and am finishing my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have experience working with students in both classroom and intervention settings, helping them strengthen their reading and math skills. I love tutoring because there is nothing better than seeing a student gain confidence and finally understand a concept they have been struggling with. I am friendly, patient, dependable, and adaptable. My strengths include communication, problem-solving, and working with children and families. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, spending time with friends and family, and caring for my dogs.
