About Heidi

I am a certified dyslexia specialist and Wilson Reading System practitioner who provides virtual structured literacy intervention for students with persistent reading and spelling difficulties. I work with students in grades 2-12 who have dyslexia or language- based learning differences. My instruction is based on the Orton-Gillingham approach and follows a structured, sequential, and diagnostic framework. Lessons are individualized using ongoing assessment to ensure students receive instruction at the right pace and level. This is not general tutoring or homework help, but targeted intervention designed to build accurate decoding, spelling, and reading fluency. Many families come to me after a psychoeducational evaluation or formal dyslexia diagnosis, and I use that information to guide intervention. A diagnosis is not required to begin. If a child is showing signs of reading difficulty, we can start with careful assessment and move forward with a clear, individualized plan.
