About Brenna

Hello! I'm Wren! I am a teacher in Durham going into my tenth year in education. My experience extends from kindergarten to eighth grade, including all core subjects (reading, writing, math, science, social studies). I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (2014) and received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction (2022). I am lucky to have Orton-Gillingham training and have a special interest in helping students learn to read. I have lived experience as a student with learning difficulties and have a special place in my heart for students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and autism. I can help you, as the caregiver, understand your student's areas of strength and opportunity and help your student in meeting their academic goals.
