About Heather

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a passion. I have over 20 years of experience teaching young children at Irvine Child Development Center, an NAEYC-accredited program serving infants-Pre-K. I have taken an extensive number of ECE courses, earned a Master's degree in Human Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education and Development from POC, and hold a Child Development Director Permit from the CCTC. I am most comfortable caring for up to three children between 1-12 years of age. My approach is patient and friendly, and I especially enjoy planning fun, educational activities that meet children's interests. I am certified in Infant, Child, and Adult CPR/First Aid/AED. I can help with simple cooking and meal preparation. Ultimately, I aim to be a supportive and engaging caregiver, making a real difference in your children's lives, and I hope to bring my love for early childhood education to your family
