About Heather

Nurturing and educating young children is my greatest passion. I have 20+ years of experience teaching young children at the Irvine Child Development Center, an NAEYC-accredited program. My approach is patient and friendly, and I especially enjoy planning fun, educational activities that meet children's interests. I really enjoy interacting with children whether it be by playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading books, or just chatting. I have taken numerous ECE courses, earned an MA in Human Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education and Development, and hold a Child Development Director Permit. I am most comfortable caring for up to four children between 1-12 years. I am certified in Pediatric and Adult CPR/First Aid/AED. I can help with simple cooking and meal preparation. Ultimately, I aim to be a supportive and engaging caregiver, making a real difference in your children's lives, and I hope to bring my love for early childhood education to your family.
