About Heather

My name is Heather and I am an energetic, patient, child care professional with over 15 years of experience including being a preschool teacher, a licensed home day care provider, a full-time nanny/educator and owner of a children's play space/party venue. For the past few years I've been fortunate to care for a few families with children currently aged 1-3 in my home during the week as well as taking occasional evening or weekend opportunities. I have a B. S. from URI, am RI Early Learning Standards certified as well as CPR/1st aid certified. Additionally, I have experience with ADHD, GI feeding tubes, allergy protocols (Epi-pen, inhaler, nebulizer), sleep training and introducing solid foods. When I'm not enjoying the company of little friends I can be found kayaking in the bay, walking in the woods, walking up a mountain or skiing down one!
