About Emma

I am a 22-year-old female who recently moved to Virginia Beach from New York with my Bachelors degree in social work. I have worked with children ages 1-18 since I was 16 years old. I have worked at a after school program, a summer program, babysat, and I substitute taught during college breaks. I am passionate about working with children and I believe in being active and productive throughout my time working with each child. Outside play and exercise is fundamental to children's learning, and as someone who likes to stay active I will always vouch for going outside to play or to the local pool over staying inside any day. I enjoy working on learning activities as well and helping children reach their goals and milestones.
