About Heather

I am looking for like minded families who just need some help here and there (date nights and such). I've been a nanny for the same family for over 10 years now. I began working for them (they found me on this site!) when their child was just 4 1/2 months old. This child is now turning 11 in June! The family doesn't need my help nearly as much these days, as their kiddo is getting older and more independent. So I would love to fill some of the extra hours. I have a 16-year-old son. I've raised him with an attachment parenting style. I strongly believe in attachment theory. Children under my supervision will be a part of solving any problem, will be given choices, will be heard and will have fun. I'm vaccinated, politically aligned very left, non binary, queer and AuDHD. I have a degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. I have also been trained as a birth and postpartum doula many years ago.
