About Heather

I have always had a deep love for children, especially infants, and have been drawn to caring for them from a young age. I began working as a mother's helper at just 8 years old in my neighborhood and was regularly babysitting by age 11 every weekend and all summer long. Throughout high-school and college I held various Nanny jobs. I hold a degree in early childhood development and have provided in-home childcare at various stages throughout my adult life. I am also a trained doula, which allows me to offer additional support and understanding for newborns, infants, and postpartum families. As a mother of four daughters (ages 10-15), I bring both professional experience and real-life parenting experience into the care I provide. I focus on creating a calm, nurturing, and responsive environment where children feel safe and supported. I am currently looking to care for one to two children in my home so I can provide focused, personalized attention in a warm, family-centered setting.
