Hi my name Heather I am a Certified Professional Nanny from Northwest Nannies Institute. I have more than 4 years in home child care and 5 years day care and other places child care. I have worked two contacts on Disney Cruise Line in child care. I want to be a nanny because I enjoy working with children and their families. In love seeing the children grow and learning more about the world around them. I have really enjoyed working with school children and helping them start to become independent. I have also enjoyed working with infants giving them a good start. I worked with family for a last year. Helping the 2-year-old learn the alphabet and watch the infant learn to take first steps. I helped her learn sign so she can ask for what she wants without yelling. I enjoy doing crafts and stories with the children. I have worked a year and a half with school age loving seeing them grow and develop. I also like helping with the family animals.

Heather was our nanny for just over one year to my (then) 6month old girl and 2.5 year old boy (now 18mos and 3.5yo). She was incredibly reliable, absolutely dependable and 100% punctual. She took care of our kids when they were sick, no questions asked. She was never late and never "called in" sick or cancelled. Heather did fun crafts, read and sang songs on a daily basis with my older son and engaged our (then) baby with her knowledge of developmental stages . She also was incredible with keeping them on a good schedule (naps, lunch, etc). She was a great help with daily light house keeping and the kids laundry. Our son started a half-day pre-school so she would get both kids ready and transport them to drop him off/pick him up...she even bought her own car seats which was wonderful. Due to starting our youngest in the same school program, we no longer needed Heather full-time, but we sure miss her!
