About Heather

Hello! I am a former Special Education Teacher that had to retire early due to a knee injury and being available to help out more with my aging parents. I still like to stay busy by picking up part-time assignments when I can. I have worked with a variety of kiddos within the early childhood and elementary school setting. I am available for tutoring elementary, special needs, and English (as a second language or up to high school). I have experience in child care, pet sitting/ dog walking, and in-home support services (I am registered with IHSS). My schedule can vary a bit depending on my primary obligations, and the listed hours are a guideline for the times that I have the most availability. I am always open to discuss other potential times, including weekends and evenings. I am also available for online tutoring in the evenings.
