About Heather

I am a licensed RN who is a bit burnt out & looking for a great family needing help over the summer. I love going on summer adventures & to get the kids out every day, whether that is to a park, a pool, the library, the zoo, or a festival. I am experienced with ages 2 months-12 years, siblings, & nanny shares. I love reading, pretend play, being active, mediating conflict, & setting up an enriching environment for kids of all ages. My style is goofy with clear boundaries. I like working with kids because they help you see the world through different eyes & connect with your own excitement. I love helping explain things, teaching skills to help regulate feelings, & being a predictable & safe adult for a child. I started working with kids when I was one myself. I have 10+ years as a nanny & occasional preschool teacher & spend lots of my free time with my 5-year-old & 16-month-old niece & nephew. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable & do not spend time on social media.
