About Heather

For over a year, Heather has nurtured my toddler daughter with lots of reading, fun trips (like cherry blossoms) and setting up play dates at our home and at playgrounds. She cooks her healthy meals and manages her nap schedule with ease. Heather has a masters degree in early education and knows how to foster a love for learning with the littles. She has her own car and is always early for work/meets my schedule with flexibility. She has also formed a close bond with my five year old in their walks to/from school and is open to an addition child for these types of situations. In addition, we hire Heather to do tutoring with our rising first grader to keep her skills sharp through the summer. My mom is moving in with us to help with our childcare needs but this is no reflection on Heather’s supportive role for our family. Heather ideally prefers caring for one child within one family where she can build strong relationships and provide consistent, focused care.  She really excels at bonding with the newborn to 3-year-old age range.
