About Heather

I have worked with children for over 20 years. First as a teacher, kindergarten, first, and second grades. Then as a nanny for children 4 months to 3 years. I have a masters in education and love teaching even babies to explore their environment and when they get older ask questions. We work together to find answers whether through exploring the neighborhood, look in books (I have a lot of them), or looking it up online. I love to sing with the children I watch and listen to music. I also have done swimming lessons and pool time with a 1-year-old. I have a safe car and a clean driving record. I'm also CPR and first aid certified.

We have loved having Heather caring for our daughter from age 9 months to 15 months. She has been a wonderful caregiver with a positive attitude, great communication, super reliable and trustworthy, and always up for trying new things -- like swimming at the rec center and music classes! She is caring and kind and brings learning to her every day play and adventures around the city. She loves to read and sing, and is also very good at providing updates throughout the day.
