About Heather
Hello! Teaching is my PASSION and it's something I've been doing for a long time. I've taught for over 10 years of teaching/tutoring to children ages 4-18, at public charter schools in Miami and Miramar. Prior to that, I've tutored and taught at different learning centers and private institutions while studying towards my degrees. I've earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Reading Education at FIU. I love teaching in the areas of reading, writing, and math, as well as watching children learn and gain confidence in their own abilities. I can drive to your home or location of your choice, whichever you'd prefer. I would love the opportunity to discuss what we can do to improve your child's skills this summer!
