About Haya

Hi, I am Haya! I hold a Master's degree in Economics from Boston University and have spent over five years working with children in many different settings: as a nanny, babysitter, Montessori teacher, and private tutor. Those experiences have taught me that every child learns differently, and one of my favorite parts of teaching is findinf the approach that helps each student feel excited to learn. I tutor a variety of subjects, with a focus on Arabic and English, mathematics, economics, computer programming, and data analytics. By day, I work at the NYC Mayor's Office, where I use data and research to help shape public policy, but teaching had always been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. Whether your child needs extra support or wants to learn a new skill/language, I'd love to help create a learning environment thats encouraging and engaging.
