I'm Harper, and I'd love to help take care of your little ones! I have 15 years of childcare experience, absolutely love kids, and am a very enthusiastic, energetic, warm, caring nanny. I love pets and am CPR certified. I love caring for kids by playing games, doing arts & crafts, playing outside and using our imaginations! With little ones, I love singing songs, reading books, and exploring the world together. I most recently cared for a 3-month-old boy and his two older siblings, and before that I nannied an adorable toddler for almost two years starting at 14 months old. After all our adventures, she headed to preschool! I just recently moved to New York and I'm so excited to find my next family. My age preference is typically infants and toddlers, but I'm always happy to care for older siblings if need be. If you think I may be a good fit for your family, feel free to reach out! Wow, I have never met anyone who cared for our kids with so much energy, love, and attention. Harper primarily cared for our infant, but she also frequently helped with our extremely energetic three and five year-olds. One of the most special things about her is the genuine joy she takes in caring for children and her ability to form an individual bond with each one. Her care for our infant was active and engaged. She was always reading to him, playing songs for him on the guitar, or taking him on little adventures around the neighborhood. She was also very thoughtful about managing our older children's behavior and encouraging respectful play between them, which is not exactly their favorite pastime at the moment. Harper even managed to defuse several meltdowns from my three-year-old when I couldn't! I also loved having Harper around. She is personable, fun, and incredibly easy to get along with. She jumped right into our chaotic family life, and I quickly felt as comfortable with her as I would with an old friend. Communication was always clear and direct, and she was 100 percent reliable. We were so sad to give her back to the East Coast, but I’m excited for the lucky family that discovers her next. She is truly a gem.
