About Harmony

I have a strong background in tutoring and mentoring, supported by both formal and personal learning experiences. For two years, I worked as an assistant dance teacher, helping students build confidence, focus, and discipline skills that translate directly into academic support. I have tutored elementary and middle school students in basic math and English, using clear explanations, structured practice, and encouragement to help them master foundational skills. My own time learning at Mathnasium and Kumon has given me firsthand insight into effective teaching methods, which I now apply when working with students. In addition, I have participated in peer-to-peer mentoring programs, guiding classmates through challenges and helping them stay motivated. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a patient, engaging, and dependable tutor.
