About Emrys

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. My journey began with 4 years of peer tutoring during middle and high school, which laid the foundation for my professional career. As a para-educator/ teacher's aide, I have extensive experience providing dedicated one-on-one and small group support. I am a licensed k-12 school librarian, and have a college degree. My expertise includes working with IEPs and 504 plans to ensure every learner thrives. I specialize in creating individualized paths for success. I tutor a wide range of subjects, including: math, science, English, history, art, computer literacy, social emotional learning, and more. Available for elementary / middle school, and for adult learners. I'm open to additional age groups! Beyond academics, I offer companion care and organizational support. Whether online or in person, I aim to foster a love for learning and witness those rewarding aha! moments when a difficult concept finally makes sense.
