Passionate, reliable, and dedicated childcare professional with 8+ years of paid experience. I most recently held a long-term nanny position for 5 years caring for two boys, supporting their growth from early childhood through school age. I strive to create a nurturing, safe, and fun environment where children feel free to express themselves. I meet each child where they're at, weaving their interests into activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development---daily outdoor time included! I am familiar with Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches and prioritize using positive reinforcement techniques while maintaining firm boundaries. I am also very comfortable working with neurodivergent children. I believe in open communication and collaboration with families and respect all identities, backgrounds, and beliefs. Currently pursuing a B. A. in Developmental Psychology. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hockey, hiking, and rockhounding. I am also a big animal lover!
