About Hannah

I'm Hannah, a licensed early childhood teacher. What drew me to early childhood education was the ability to teach all subjects. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be art and literacy. Whenever presented with a topic, my mind thinks of a children's book or art activity that would go along with it. My favorite book as a child was Mouse Paint, the perfect combination of the two. I love working with early childhood because kids this age are so curious and excited to explore and learn about the world. There's nothing like the aha moment when something clicks for a child. I enjoy developing activities tied to children's interests to support their growth in all developmental areas. I use Conscious Discipline as a foundation, as supporting social emotional awareness and problem solving leads to benefits in all developmental areas. I love creating social stories, and visuals to support children's social-emotional growth. I'd describe my personality as patient, creative, and encouraging.
