About Hannah

Hi my name is Hannah. I graduated June 2014 with a major in fiber art and a minor in child development. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old. For the past 2 years I have been working for a family in mill valley, two boys 9 and 11 years old. I have worked with infants as young as 4 months old and as old as 12 years old. I am 28, I love kids and being able to learn from them every day. I have studied many methods and philosophies on child care including Waldorf, Piaget, Montessori, and Erikson. I know how important it is to cultivate creativity early in a child's life. Imagination is key to abstract thinking. In case you don't know, fiber art is an umbrella term for weaving, tapestries, beading, basketry, felting, embroidery, lace making, and generally working with fabrics. I love and know the importance of reading to kids. As a kid I did all kinds of dance and theater, I sang in choirs and played soccer. I just bought a 2017 Honda Civic so I can do pick ups and drop offs.
