About Hanako

Hi! My name is Hanako (he/they) and last winter I moved to Minneapolis from Maine. I started as a tutor in my first year of college, working in the college's writing center. I found it so fun to work with students on their various writing projects, be it essays, applications, or resumes. I also worked there as a 1-on-1 vocal coach! I have also worked part- and full-time in experiential outdoor education since 2021, and I am currently a day program instructor. In addition to writing and English/Literature, I am open and eager to tutor in the following subjects: - history - social studies/sciences - music theory - vocal music - English as a second language - Japanese - college applications or SAT/ACT prep I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with you!
