Hello! I'm a compassionate and creative babysitter with 10+ years of experience teaching and caring for children. I've provided private care for many, many families, worked as a nanny, and also worked at an early childhood center for 5 years. My main priority is being a safe place for children to express their needs and feelings, and for them to feel seen and heard. I aim to help them understand themselves and what brings them joy in life! My own interests include listening to music, rock climbing, exploring in nature, reading, and crafting. Halie nannied for our daughter and another little girl while they were 1-2 years old. We had such a wonderful experience with her and highly recommend her. One of the first things we noticed about Halie when we interviewed her was her understanding of child development that comes from working with small children for years. She was great with the girls and formed strong bonds with both of them. Having our daughter starting in a nanny share hosted at another family's house was a big step for us and Halie made the transition go incredibly smoothly and our daughter quickly formed a strong attachment to her. We were fully prepared for weeks of tears at drop off but that actually never happened. Seriously by day 2, our girl was comfortable in this new environment, and she's generally a sensitive/slow to warm up temperment....so Halie definitely has a way of connecting quickly with the little ones :) Halie was great with structuring days with fun and developmentally enriching activities for the girls. They went on nature walks daily and we would get updates with pictures of the girls laughing on their walks or at the park. We'll always look back on the share days fondly. Our girl is in daycare full time now but we plan to have Halie over for date nights at some point. 10/10 highly recommend.
