I have been caring for children since the age of 10, beginning with family members (younger sister and cousins) and at the age of 12, I started babysitting for non-family members. Having cared for children with ASD, emotional disorders, behavior disorders, and many other special needs, I have also cared for many children with allergies (peanuts, eggs, dairy, gluten). Along with 12+ years of babysitting/childcare, I also have been a camp counselor consistently for the past 6 years. Lastly I have worked as a Behavior Technician and Paraprofessional for the past 2 years with children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and other developmental, academic and emotional impairments. Combining both babysitting and camp counseling, I have cared for children ranging from young infants to 16-year-olds. Aside from the 12+ years of having cared for children, I am certified in CPR and First Aid. Along with the certifications, I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
