About Hailey

I've spent a summer at Delphian as a teachers assistant working with children ages 4-6. I took them to various activities, taught them reading and math, and took care of them. I speak English and Spanish fluently. I worked as a caregiver with elderly people with behavioral dementia (I'm very familiar with diapers, poop, vomit) for over 8 months. I am the oldest of 6 siblings and have spent most of my life caring for my siblings. I can cook a variety of healthy meals along with baked goods. I also have spent two summers caring full time for a 4-year-old girl. In the words of the teacher that I assisted for a full summer: "She worked with the children who range in age from 4 years old to 6 and was able to do so with confidence and care. She demonstrated competence, patience, and an unwavering willingness to do whatever was asked of her to the very best of her ability.
