About Destiny

I am a licensed teacher currently working in special education. Prior to my role in special education, I taught grades K-3 for eight years. While attending George Fox University, I also worked in daycare settings for six years, caring for children from infants to school-age. I am passionate about teaching and enjoy working with children to help them reach their full potential. On weekends, I provide childcare for families through Care. com and have multiple references available. I am comfortable assisting with homework, light housekeeping, and transportation. I am background checked and fingerprinted. Additionally, I am a parent to two children, ages 10 and 13. I commute an hour to work, so location is not a concern for me. I love working with kids!
