About Destiny

I am an experienced educator with 10 years of teaching in both elementary and special education settings. I taught kindergarten through third grade for eight years and have spent the past two years in special education. I graduated from George Fox University in 2016 and earned my master's degree in 2020. I specialize in teaching reading and have strong experience supporting children with autism and a variety of learning needs. I am patient, attentive, and skilled at meeting each child where they are. As a mother of two sons, ages 11 and 14, I understand the importance of a safe, structured, and caring environment. I am reliable, flexible, and communicate well with families. Many families I have worked with have stayed with me for years, reflecting the trust and consistency I bring. While, attending college I worked in childcare for six years. I commute regularly, so travel is not an issue. I enjoy building strong relationships and supporting children's growth.
