I am looking for an opportunity to help bring joy and companionship to an elder that might be lonely and under stimulated from lack of interaction with others. I have been a caregiver/nurturer most of my working life. I enjoyed a 35yr career as a manicurist and esthetician but unfortunately illness prevented me from continuing. Most recently I have been a private companion for a senior with memory loss. It brings me great pleasure to offer support to the elder community by helping with basic life needs. In addition to being compassionate and a supportive listener I pride myself on being responsible, dependable and honest with a keen sense of awareness. I enjoy many hobbies such as knitting, reading, cooking/baking, birding, kayaking and overall enjoying the natural gifts of the great outdoors.
