As a tutor with several years of experience and a college degree, I believe every student can achieve their goals with the right support. I focus on building confidence and a love for learning in an engaging and patient environment. I actively listen to students and vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate successes, and break down complex problems. Communication is essential, so I provide regular updates to parents. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow. I have a car and am willing to tutor at your student's home, center, library, community center, or school. I can help with math, English, test preparation, special education, and study skills for elementary school students. I am CPR trained and certified in First Aid. I'd love to help your child succeed!
