I'd describe my personality as caring, respectful, and loving. I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. I'm looking for a job that will allow me to take care of seniors get to know them and make their lives as meaningful as possible. I started caring for seniors when I went home to care for my father the last six months of his life. I did as much research as I could about Dementia so that I would know what to expect and how to deal with what he needed. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family providing care for my grandchildren. I like to do crafts, read and cook and bake. One thing you should know about me is that I would take my job very seriously. I make sure to keep families informed, I want them to be as productive as possible. My skills include being able to manage medications, diets and their restrictions, lift and transportation, activities geared towards their abilities.
