About Gretchen

Hi, I'm Gretchen! Kids have been my favorite people since day one, and caring for them is what I do best. I spent my college summers as a nanny and loved every minute. Since then I've worked as a medical assistant in a pediatrics office, so I'm prepared for whatever the day brings, from scraped knees to sudden fevers. For the past three years I have volunteered as a tutor for a nonprofit, working with 1st through 5th graders. That taught me how to make learning feel encouraging and fun, and how to meet each child where they are. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University with a focus on early childhood development, so I understand how children grow, learn, and feel at every stage. I bring that into each day with creative activities, steady routines, and plenty of encouragement. I can handle meals, naps, playtime, school pickups, and more. I recently moved to West Hollywood from Colorado, and I'd love to find a family I can grow with.
