I'm Harmony -- a former early childhood teacher with a strong Reggio Emilia background and a deep belief that children learn best through play, exploration, and the meaningful behaviors modeled by the adults around them I've known since kindergarten that I wanted to work with children, and that passion has only grown. I discovered how much I love the chance to support children in their natural curiosity and unique ways of learning. I'm looking for an opportunity which allows me to blend my love for hands-on, play-based learning with my commitment to helping children grow academically and emotionally. I bring patience, empathy, structure, and a child-centered approach to every family I work with. Harmony has been an incredible babysitter for our family. We have two young kids, and with their energy, I was always a little nervous about having someone manage both of them at the same time, but Harmony makes it look effortless. She is responsible, trustworthy, and we feel completely comfortable with her driving the kids. She’s always up for keeping them engaged with fun, active experiences. We limit screen time, and she fully respects that. Instead, she’s playing games with them, getting them outside, doing art projects, taking them to the nature reserve, going on hikes, or even to the trampoline park. She truly goes above and beyond. If she has time, she’ll prep their lunches for the next day, help clean up toys, and leave the kitchen in great shape. She’s also stayed with our kids for over 24 hours while we’ve been away, so she has great experience with extended care as well. Harmony is always willing to help, dependable, and genuinely cares. We are so sad to see her go and would recommend her to anyone without hesitation.
