About Gregory

I have a B. S. in elem. ed. I have over 21 years of experience in NC, Thailand, Mongolia, Japan, & Huntington Learning Center. In NC, I taught all subjects at 5th grade for 9 yrs. Thailand: EFL to 1st and 7th graders. Mongolia: EFL to 1st to 7th graders, and 11th graders and an IELTS prep course (HS) and was director of the English Club. Japan: EFL to nursery school to HS students, 2 doctors, a nurse, and a class of retirees. I also taught an IELTS prep course. I'd describe my personality as fun, caring, and easygoing. I like tutoring because the small ratio allows me to give students direct help and support. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with students who are struggling or want enrichment or extension activities. I started tutoring in 1997. In my spare time, I like to draw, paint, play sax, and travel. One thing you should know about me is that I am very patient. My skills include teaching writing, math, science, social studies, and reading.
