About Grayson

I first started working with kids in 2018 when I volunteered at a neighborhood drop-in center. I already knew I liked working with kids, but volunteering there was what made me realize it's my passion; it's what I'm meant to do with my life. Since then, I've babysat on and off for a few families throughout the years, and I worked in a licensed childcare center for over a year. I love working with kids because I truly believe every child is incredible. Kids are so much more intelligent, creative, and interesting than adults tend to give them credit for, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing them explore the world and learn new things. I want every child to feel special, because they are! My goal as a childcare worker and aspiring teacher is to create a safe, fun, and accepting space for kids to grow, inside and out. One thing you should know about me is that I am proudly LGBTQ+ and I use they/them pronouns. I do not believe this should be hidden from kids.
