About Grace

Hi My name is Grace, I'm 21 and currently going to school for elementary education! I'd describe my personality as optimistic, compassionate, reliable. I like working with kids because I love seeing growth as they find their way through life! The most rewarding feeling for me is watching the kids I work with gain new skills and become stronger individuals! I started working with kids when I was very young, I began by babysitting for family and friends. I started coaching when I was 17 and have continued that for the last 4 years. When I was 18 I began my nonprofit work! Since then I have transitioned to working in a special education classroom! In my spare time, I like to decorate cakes! I also love running! One thing about me is I am passionate about youth development and supporting children in all aspects of what they need! Through my education I have gained so much knowledge about how to interact and communicate with youth in an effective way that allows them to feel heard.
