Hi there! My name is Grace and I'm currently looking for a sweet family of 1-2 kids to nanny. I'm empathetic, creative, and compassionate. I care about helping you raise kind and respectful children. I also prefer a low tech environment when taking care of children. I have 6+ years of experience nannying, several years were for a busy family of 4. I live an active lifestyle by hiking, biking, playing sports, and spending time outside. I updated my CPR certification in November 2023 along with my Wilderness First Aid Certification. I graduated from Pepperdine University and studied Sociology and Social Work. I'm happy to provide you with my: -Driving record -Vaccination records -Background check info via Trustline -Resume -References -CPR certification My hourly rate is $25-40. Would love to connect to see if we would work well together.
Grace took care of our son from 18 months - 3 years, and she is the best possible caregiver we could have imagined for him. I tell people if I could leave my son to Grace in my will, I would. I knew when my son was with Grace, he was taken care of physically and emotionally - she has excellent judgment, maturity, an incredibly loving heart, and eagerness to learn and grow. Grace is a very proactive nanny - always fully engaged with our son, finding new activities for him to try (e.g. tie dye, jewelry making), and places to take him. At the same time, she also observed his interests and followed his lead. After she left, every time he would tell me something new, it was often followed by “Grace taught me that!” My son is generally slow to warm but took an instant liking to Grace. Over time, they forged a real and deep bond that I believe will last a lifetime. I could go on — but Grace is truly the only nanny I have worked with where I have never had any reservations or qualms. I kept her on even after I stopped working because I knew she was such a positive influence on my son. Will also add that Grace was also incredibly professional, punctual, and helpful to our family in other ways (cleaning, driving my mother to medical appointments etc.). We sadly had to part ways when she moved back to Washington from California, but I never would have let her go otherwise! If you are lucky enough to have an opportunity to work with Grace, you should take it. Quality childcare can be so difficult to find - she is a true gem.
