Hi there! My name is Grace, I'm 25, and was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for undergrad and worked as a Writing Assistant in our school's Writing Center while studying Creative Writing and Spanish. Upon graduating, I moved back to the PNW to attend Western Washington University, where I got my Masters in Fine Arts in Creative Writing. There I taught English 101 while taking classes myself and working on my thesis, a collection of flash fiction that explores speculative fairy tales and children's literature. Now I live in Vancouver, WA! I teach the occasional Creative Writing class here and there, and of course I'm still writing. I was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2025 for an essay I wrote about my time working as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Room. In my free time I like to ride my bike, play chess very poorly, and explore Vancouver/Portland with my friends. I look forward to connecting! Grace
