I am a writer and recent MFA grad back in my hometown of Bozeman, MT for the summer. I have over 12 yrs of experience in childcare: private homes, daycares, elementary schools, and soccer camps, infants - preteens! I am an engaged & fun-loving person who loves to help kids discover the world & their gifts. As a University adjunct & writer, I frequently supplement my income via childcare. Most recent employment: 2020: PT care for precocious 5 yr old girl and her infant brother. 2019: PT care for two 8-month-olds over four month period. Parents requested I follow Montessori practices, so I learned a lot and gained experience in providing care that prioritised respect, communication and the child's independent learning. 2017: FT care for twin 6 mo. olds and their toddler sister over 3 mo. period. Included meal prep & light housework. During MT winter it was a challenge to get out in the snow to ensure good naps and attitudes.

Grace stepped up and helped care for our three girls (ages 2 and 6-9 month old twins) when we were in a bit of a pinch. She was amazing and we were so lucky to have her! She not only made sure all of the kids' needs were met, but also engaged and played with them at their respective levels. Grace was always on time and willing to work extra hours when we needed it. We were sad to see her go and would hire her again in a heartbeat!
