About Grace

I have been working with children since my senior year of high school, where I was a kindergarten teacher's assistant. It sparked my passion for working with kids and I am currently in my senior year of college majoring in psychology. My goal after graduation is to work with kids in either a school or healthcare setting. Since graduating high school, I took a job through the YMCA at a Chicago Public School as a youth enrichment instructor. I acted as a lunch and recess monitor during the school day and as an after-care teacher, working with grades Pre-K through 8th grade. That is also where I became CPR and First Aid Certified, as well as ECE Credential Level 1 in Illinois Gateways. Most recently, I babysat my neighbor's sweet1-year-old baby! While I do not have a car, I am a Chicago native with a strong knowledge of the CTA. I love to sing and dance with kids, and am more than willing to run around with them. I am open and willing to answer any questions you may have.
