About Grace
Experience: 10 yrs
I am currently a 1st Grade teacher at an outdoor Nature School, and have 10 years of experience with children newborn through 15 years old. My favorite things for childcare include spending time outside, creating crafts, reading, explorative play and imagination, playing games, and having independent-led creativity. I like to stay active and busy with the kids. The outdoors are a great place to explore and learn! I lead from an emotionally-aware perspective which focuses on empathy and boundary setting. My goal is to always create a positive and encouraging environment for the child, and to listen to see if their needs are being met. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have been a nanny for kids who use an epi-pen for food allergies. I am available Fridays 8am-5pm, Friday evenings for errands/date night, and Saturdays and Sundays.
