About Grace

Hello there! Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. With eight years of experience as a certified special education teacher (K-12, College) and a Kumon Math and Reading Consultant, I specialize in Math, Phonics, Reading Intervention, English, and College Preparation for students ranging from elementary school to high school. I hold a Doctorate degree from Vanderbilt University and can advocate for Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 Student accommodations. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with personalized support. I adapt my methods to build both soft skills (concentration, focus, stamina) and hard skills (comprehension, calculation).
