I recently graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in Psychology and started my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Michigan University this fall. Over the summer, I worked as a nanny for two wonderful kids and absolutely loved it. Before that, I spent a year as an in-home behavior technician for an amazing 8-year-old girl with autism-an experience that taught me how to make learning fun while supporting emotional growth. I love mixing creativity and structure-whether that's crafting, exploring outdoors, or helping with homework. My background in psychology helps me understand different personalities and respond with patience and empathy. Once I get to know your kids, I truly care deeply for them and do my best to make them feel safe, seen, and valued. Grace worked for our family over the 2025 summer and made such a positive connection with our 2 girls. Not only does she have the energy to keep up with an ultra rambunctious 8 year old who wants to keep moving all day long, but she also has the creativity to make sure that movement continues without boredom and is experiencing new and exciting things all the time. Her kindness and compassion shows through her work and really helps to connect with the kids on a personal level. Additionally, Grace is able to perform and keep up with any additional tasks asked around the house during the day, leaving us less stressed when we get home. Overall, any family that brings Grace in to help with their children will be happy with the decision they have made, because she is fantastic with kids!
