About Grace

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience, working as a tutor at Teach for America as well as a peer tutor, I specialize in math, english, history, and musical instruction for elementary through high school students. I can also help with teaching students study skills. I believe every learner is unique, so I prioritize observing how you interact with new material to tailor my methods, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussion. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to build momentum. I maintain open communication with parents and students to ensure a collaborative, supportive environment.
