About Grace

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, empathetic, and kindhearted. I enjoy working with kids because building meaningful relationships and be a supportive, positive presence in their lives is incredibly rewarding. Watching them grow and knowing I played a small part in creating a happy, healthy environment brings me a lot of joy. I started working with kids at 13 as a mother's helper and began babysitting soon after. For the past seven years, I've been a swim coach, where I've taught hundreds of kids water safety, stroke technique, and confidence in the water. During my senior year of college, I also worked as a classroom volunteer in a Head Start preschool classroom. One thing you should know about me is I'm moving to Boston at the end of August to begin my Master of Social Work degree at Boston College. My skills include building strong and trusting relationships, patience and understanding of child development, and emotional support and positive guidance.
