About Grace

Hi! I’m Grace, an independent contract tutor and Neuroscience major at the University of Miami (4. 0 GPA) with minors in Public Health, Biochemistry & Nutrition, and Spanish for the Health Professions. I’ve spent over a decade teaching and mentoring students of all ages — from young children to college STEM learners. As a Biology Workshop Leader and Honors Society mentor, I specialize in breaking down complex concepts and helping students build strong, lasting study habits. My approach is warm, patient, and highly individualized. I focus on understanding each student’s perspective, asking the right guiding questions, and encouraging them to discover their own problem-solving strategies. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and empowered, so I create a structured yet flexible environment where they can gain confidence and independence.
