Hi! My name is Grace. I've been caring for children since I was 12, starting as a mother's helper and progressing to babysitting independently. I hold a master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Elementary Education, along with a California teaching license. After receiving my master's degree, I taught for two years in a public elementary school in Lexington, Massachusetts. I then moved to California, where I transitioned out of the classroom but continued to babysit regularly, including date nights. I also tutored K-2 grade level students and led pod teaching sessions. Currently, I work fully remote as a research associate but miss the joy of interacting with kids. I decided to return to Care. com because I am still in touch with the wonderful families I met through this platform and want to get to know the area better. I'm experienced, responsible, and caring. Grace is amazing and we truly enjoyed having her watch our children (age 3, 4, and 6). She worked for us full time for about 5 months and set up a learning pod for the kids, worked with them on different topics from reading to science experiments, helped them with meals, and just took care of the kids throughout the day. The kids always looked forward to school with Grace. We also had good communication, and she was easy-going, trustworthy and was always on time. We will definitely hire Grace again if she's available!
